Short of the gameplay shown off lately, EA Dice hasn’t said much about Battlefield 1 PC Torrent’s locations the single player campaign will showcase. So far we have been shown some countryside fighting, some action in the trenches, and some battling in city streets. There were many notable battles in World War 1 that they could pull from, so it all depends on the overall narrative they wish to put forward. Knowing what we know about how they want individual battles to play out, it’s pretty easy to look at the major battles and take some pretty educated guesses.

The big Battlefield 1 PC Torrent battles

There’s several keynote battles that are almost guaranteed to be centerpieces of Torrent Battlefield 1 PC campaign. First and foremost, the Battle of Somme. The Battle of Somme was a fairly large battle, and to get the most out of it, Dice could split it up into two parts, before and after the shelling. This would be a good way to showcase a lot of new features in the game, such as melee, using trenches, and new grenades since one of the battles therein marked the first appearance of chlorine gas used by the Germans. The battlefield is large enough to accommodate tons of players, and depending on how spread out from the main battles it gets, could showcase its new horses and planes.
Out of the other main battles, just judging by landscape it’s easy to guess at whats going to be included. The Battle Of Vimy Ridge, for example, is known as one of the first battle that widely used tanks, and is sure to included in some complicity. It would make a good way to introduce the vehicle to players, and makes sense narratively. The battles around Verdun also would fit into the narrative, since that marks a large offensive of the Germans against the French.
The battle at Passchendaele will surely also be shown, as it was a big victory for English forces, and could show these environments in a different light than most battlefields, since it was often mared by bad weather. Since it’s fairly unclear if you’re going to be playing as a single soldier throughout the campaign, its best to look at as many different battles as possible.

US enters the war in Battlefield 1 Torrent PC Download

The US enters the war after a good handful of large battles have already passed, but still have a good good chunk to pull from. The Battle of Amiens for example is a good one, offering a large battle staffed by many different countries on either side. In one of the last large battles of the war, the Meuse-Argonne Offensive will probably be close to the end of the campaign, as it marks one of the last times the Germans were pushed back to the Hindenburg line.
Until EA Dice gives a few more details on the campaign and how they plan on handing the protagonist, all anyone can really do is make some good guesses based on interesting battles of the war. If any of the battles I’ve talked about pop up in Battlefield 1 Torrent, I fully expect them to be fully realized interesting battlefields, and a blast to play.
